'IT' is my job. That is how I make a living.
I met with many IT people in these years. So far, I can remember 4 types of IT people.
Type one, they can deliver what was agreed and their customers are happy. This type of IT people are very rare.
Type two also can deliver but their customers do not happy about the end result/product. They can be found in every single company, I guess. They are very common in IT.
Another type are those failed to deliver and of course both customers and their boss.....everybody feels frustrated.
A final type is: no matter the project or product is delivered or not, they will do everything they could to make sure everyone is happy.
A (an IT) project is full of variables, surprises and challenges, make a plan to stick to it and pray will not take you to the promise land.
